SYNERGY SIS (formerly GENESIS), a truly next-generation innovation in student information systems—delivers the industry's richest SIS feature-set and compliance reporting capabilities through a flexible, customizable architecture that streamlines workflow, supports data-driven decision making, and facilitates collaborative communications. SYNERGY is a smarter solution that is easy-to-use and affordable to implement. Clients include charter schools of 50 students to large districts of 50,000 students and even multi-district consortiums. While it includes all the typical components you would expect, it also provides many that are not found in most other products. Bassco manages the state requirements for SYNERGY in Ohio.
SYNERGY SPECIAL EDUCATION (formerly GENESEA) addresses the diverse needs of special education students with functionality for every stakeholder: administrators, case managers, evaluators, service providers, teachers, counselors, parents, and students. SYNERGY Special Ed’s robust collaborative environment and customized workflow streamline special education processes, increasing staff efficiency and ensuring compliance to meet state and federal regulations. IEPs (Individual Education Plans) are the core component of special education programs. SYNERGY Special Ed manages the collaboration, creation, and reporting of IEPs as they evolve throughout a student’s career. Since SYNERGY Special Ed is fully integrated with SYNERGY SIS, current student data is automatically filled in on Special Education forms, and IEPs are readily available to teachers if desired. alio is a web-based, fully integrated library of Financial Management, Payroll, and Human Resource software applications, built to excel both now and in the future.
The alio suite of products includes fund accounting, encumbrance accounting, general ledger, purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, finance, payroll, human resources, position control, salary administration, dashboards, integrated content management, workflow and complete reporting. It is deployed on an Oracle database and runs on Windows servers. Bassco handles the state requirements for alio in Ohio, South Carolina, and Georgia.
CIMS allows school districts to better manage nearly all administrative functions using this modular, site-based management program built on the IBM i platform (AS/400). CIMS modular solutions include Financial Management, Employee/Payroll Management, Human Resources Management, Warehousing and Inventory, Fixed Asset Management, Student Records, Grading, Scheduling, and Attendance.

Schools Interoperability Framework Solutions
Most districts enter student data into their student information system, and then enter the same data over and over again into other systems, such as library, food service, transportation, network accounts, gradebook, and so on.
The Schools Interoperability Framework (SIF) allows these applications to share data seamlessly and securely in real time. When a piece of data changes, the change only has to be made in one place. This integrated approach significantly reduces the duplication of work, increasing accuracy, accountability, and productivity.
